My name is Rushmore!

Rushmore is a fantastic dog. Sweet, lovable, and a great personality. It makes me very sad to rehome him. However, post-divorce and big life changes have created a circumstance where I can't provide for him the life he deserves. He is great with kids of all sizes and ages. He just wants to play with them and thoroughly enjoys the attention they give him. If you're an adult, you'll never find a better companion. At your side and at your feet, Rushmore always wants to be around his people. He's an amazing watchdog and has absolutely no bite. He does have "other dog" anxiety. Very reactive to other dogs. Especially dogs his size or larger. He seems to do just fine with smaller dogs. He is protective of his yard and space when it comes to other dogs and takes a firm owner to show him whats acceptable and what's not. He's incredibly smart and very trainable. Fairly easy to handle on a leash and running lead. (My kids take him on walks). He's also shock collar trained.
