i. I'm Casper. I'm not the friendly ghost that most think of when they hear my name. I'm a friendly 2 year old male yorkiepoo ( more poo than yorkie). I was surrendered to the rescue by my owner, who said she could not keep me because she is pregnant and does not have the $ to give me what I need and deserve. So, the nice rescue lady picked me up and now I'm looking for my forever home.
I like going for walks and riding in the car. I am a big cuddler and love watching Netflix with foster mom. I prefer being inside but also enjoy saying hi to the neighbors' dogs while I am outside taking care of business. My energy level is low to moderate. I get along well with other small dogs. Unsure about large dogs or cats. I like to be the leader of the pack. I would do best in a home without children as I had been "punked by children in my last household. That made me fear them.
So, if you are looking for a guy who likes giving and getting attention, have your peeps call my peeps and we'll get this love fest started.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.
So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
