Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Katrina is a 5-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua/Min Pin mix who brightens every room she enters. Katrina is a little love bug and gets along with EVERYBODY: other dogs, cats, chickens, and most of all, people!
Katrina is a great dog to take places with you. On a recent outing at a restaurant, multiple people were sitting on a long, padded bench. Katrina went down the bench person by person, stopping for a good 5 minutes each to place her paws on their lap while they petted her and told her what a pretty girl she is. She falls in love with each new person she meets instantly.
If you have a lap, Katrina wants to sit in it. If you have a bed, Katrina plans to sleep in it with you. She wants to be held and coddled—with the occasional tummy rub thrown in for good measure—as much of the time as possible. If you are sitting with her and should forget to pet her for a moment, a dog paw on your arm will remind you to re-commence the petting. She would also like very much to be spoiled with good quality snacks—no milk bones for this princess.
As an adult dog, Katrina has her manners down. She is house-trained. She is not barky. She is totally non-destructive and you can trust her not to potty or destroy things when you aren’t home. She walks well on a leash—loves walks, in fact. She rides great in the car. Katrina came to us from a senior who can no longer care for her due to medical issues, and from that upbringing experience she is a gentle, calm dog.
Katrina would do equally well in a house or an apartment, with a single, couple or family. She would be a great companion for a senior or anyone wanting a lot of doggie love.
Katrina’s adoption fee is $225 and includes spay, all shots & microchip. She is heartworm-negative and on heartworm medication.
Note:
We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.
