EVELYN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Best Guess for Age:  4 years as of September 2024       SEX:  Female

Approximate Weight: 54 lbs

Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested.

Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.

Evelyn is Looking For:    Her forever home! She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own, and she's closed that chapter. She's eager to once again have own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her new family can dream up. Trips to the beach, the mountains, Starbucks for pup cups - yes, please!

Making lots of pup and people pals along the way is high on her wish list, as are quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. What she wants most of all is  - well, you know she's well out of the puppy yips and knows what's most important in life: To know where she belongs, to know who her people are, and to be safe and loved. In exchange, she offers adoring gazes, little tail wags, and loyal companionship for all her days.

What My Foster Says About Me:  Evelyn is doing well in foster. She loves to play with dogs of all sizes, and likes to play tag with them. She is gentle taking treats and loves to go up to strangers to ask for pets. She loves to cuddle and will often come up to the couch to ask for pets. When I leave the house, she likes to sleep on the bed or in the crate, occasionally looking out the window to watch what's happening outside. She does well on the leash and rarely pulls, and she rarely barks for attention. She also doesn't chew on things she isn't supposed to, and she is doing well with potty training.

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
