My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper has had a really rough start! We believe he was used as a bait dog and has PTSD... other dogs barking stresses him out and he becomes fearful then goes into 'fight to survive' mode. He also eats very fast and is food aggressive with other dogs (not with people). Young kids stress him out as well.

He LOVES toys... any kind of toys... but he doesn't like to share them.

With people, he's SUPER SWEET! Seriously one of the most loving dogs we've had. He's well mannered, house trained, will sit on command, goes right into his crate at bedtime or any time he's asked to do so, and loves to snuggle. He also loves to play in water and swim (we have a pool and hot tub... he loves to get in with us).

I truly believe he'd be the perfect pet in a home with no other dogs (and an older kid would be fine).

He just needs to find his forever home!

Note: He's currently staying with a family in FL.
