Approximate Weight:   57 lbs

Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.

Ranger is Looking For:

A loving family where he can share his big heart, boundless energy, and loyal companionship for life. Ranger is a strong and sturdy dog with a gentle soul, and he's ready for an active home that can keep up with his zest for life! He’s looking for someone who’s up for multiple long walks a day, daily trips to parks or open spaces where he can run, and lots of mental stimulation and enrichment.

Ranger is very polite and seems to do well with other dogs, making him a great fit for families with other furry friends. Most of all, though, he wants to feel safe and loved in a place he can truly call home. In return, he promises adoring gazes, cuddles, and unwavering loyalty for all his days.

What do you say? Can you see Ranger trotting happily by your side?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
