My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Uma, and I'm proof that the best things come in small packages!

I came to TCPR from Saint Paul Animal Control after I was found as a stray and I can't wait to find my forever family. I'm still young so I have LOTS of playful kitten energy! I absolutely LOVE people and become instant best friends with everyone I meet. I also really like other cats, they're SO fun to play and wrestle with! I've never met a dog, but I'm sure I'd get along with a canine sibling considering how outgoing I am.

I am a little kitty with a BIG personality and a lot to say! However, while my sass may be unmatched, I always make up for any attitude by curling up on your lap for cuddles. I'm obsessed with wand toys and will jump super high up in the air to try and grab them. I also have a habit of making cute little "chirping noises when I play. Did I mention I like playing with other cats? We have such a blast, and I might even let them cuddle up with me when we get tired. My foster sister Odette and I are so cute together!

I would do best in a home with another young, playful cat and/or with a human family that is able to dedicate lots of time to playing with me! I also hope that my forever family would let me cuddle with them on the couch and snuggle up next to them in bed. Overall, I'm a fiery kitty with a heart of gold and so much love to give. I can't wait to meet you!

Currently fostered with: Odette

Due to my young age, I need to be adopted into a home with another young and playful cat.

I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.

Adoption Fee: $275 + applicable tax

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
