My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Odette!

I'm a young kitty that found my way to TCPR after Saint Paul Animal Control took me in as a stray - I'm so excited to find a family to call my own! I'm still under a year old so I have a lot of playful energy, especially around other cats. I really love people and I've been known to fall asleep in the laps of my new friends! I get along great with other cats and do a good job of matching their energy - they want to play? Let's wrestle! They want to nap? Let's cuddle! I don't know how I'd be around a dog, but I'm sure I would do well after a slow introduction.

As far as my personality goes, I'm as sweet as can be! All I want is to love and be loved by people and other animals. I'll even curl up next to my foster sister Uma and groom her, which I've been told is unbelievably cute. I'm pretty quiet for the most part unless I'm trying to tell you that I want something - usually this something is treats! I don't reach for toys too often (I prefer playing with other cats) but when I do it's probably my stuffed mouse that I'll carry around for a bit, I also like scratching on my scratch pad. One of my favorite parts of the day is getting to snuggle up in bed at night with my humans!

My ideal home would be one with another young, playful cat to help me come out of my shell and/or a family that has lots of time to dedicate to giving me attention. Letting me give you lots of cuddles is also at the top of my list! Overall, I'm an extremely affectionate and sweet-natured kitty who would be the most lovable companion. I can't wait to meet you!

Currently fostered with: Uma

I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
