My name is JohnnyStorm!

JohnnyStorm is a playful and affectionate puppy with a big personality and even bigger energy! This little guy loves snuggles, outdoor adventures, and, most of all, toys—of any kind! Crocs, Matchbox cars, or kid’s toys, if it’s lying around, he’ll happily claim it. (Pro tip: keeping non-dog toys out of reach will save you some scavenger hunts!) JohnnyStorm loves meal time with his puzzle feeder. It keeps him engaged and has even helped curb some of his playful barking and mouthing habits.

JohnnyStorm’s ideal family is active and loves spending time outdoors. Whether it’s walks, hikes, or backyard playtime, he thrives on activity. In fact, check out this video of JohnnyStorm playing with a leaf. And here he is playing and playing fetch.  He’s doing well on a leash and is making great strides in obedience training, already understanding commands like sit, lay down, shake, come, drop it, kennel, and sometimes even roll over. He’s a quick learner, but his sensitive tummy means he does best with his own food used as treats during training.

He’s incredibly friendly and adores meeting people, especially kids. The neighborhood children love to visit him for games of fetch, and he’s always happy to greet neighbors. He can be vocal when he needs to go out or is trying to convince his foster siblings to play. JohnnyStorm gets along well with other dogs and is learning to coexist with a cat—though their “conversations” can be pretty funny!
