Elfie is officially signing up to be your lifetime elf and bring-er of joy. Elfie is a stunning shepherd mix...probably more hound than shepherd and she is the sweetest soul! Elfie is an adult weighing about 50 lbs full grown. Her coat...there really are no words for the colors, shades and highlights throughout. You're just going to have to see if to believe it. Elfie is a quiet gal who is great in her crate and so very people focused. She will be a people pleaser for sure, making her a dream training student. Elfie will grow more confident with knowledge and skills as she is perhaps a little on the shy side right now, but never with people only new experiences. She recently joined the SG hike crew and showed that she is great on a leash and is young enough to really desire and enjoy regular exercise. Elfie does well with other dogs but prefer the kinds who, like her, aren't too raucous as she likes a mature lady lifestyle. This best present to yourself ever will be waiting at SG for you!

Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.
We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption.
