My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boromir came to Purr Partners when he was about 10 days old with two of his brothers (Baggins and Bowman). He was bottle fed for about the first 5-6 weeks of his life. It took him a little bit to enjoy solid food as he just loved to be held and bottle fed. He strongly prefers wet food but will eat some dry food on occasion.

Boromir is a gorgeous orange tabby kitten with a super special personality. In many ways Boromir is like a dog in that he will follow you around and he seeks to be pet and held as much as possible. He loves to play but he is also very much a lap kitty. As you can see from his profile picture, he is very trusting and enjoys having his belly rubbed.

Boromir grew up in home with a large dog, other cats, and one that is frequented by lots of children. He is a purring machine and quickly lets you know that he is happy to see you.

Boromir will be greatly missed by his foster family and the many kids who love him. He will be a wonderful addition to any family who adopts him. Because he is so young, he will need to be adopted with another kitten or to a family with a young cat at home for him to play with. Although, he loves loves people, he is also used to sleeping in a pile of kitties :)For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

More about this rescue

Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
