My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDER IF  DON'T RECEIVE A REPLY TO AN INQUIRY

INDOOR ONLY HOMES

Mavery was one of three rabbits left behind in a backyard when tenants vacated their residence in the Inland Empire. Sadly, she was also found with a rope tied around her neck.

Luckily, Mavery's rough start in life has not had any adverse impact on her! She is ready to forge a new path in life and her appreciation of being rescued shows in her tender loving ways.

She has healed from her spay surgery that took place on November 9, 2024. Now, she just needs a special someone to take her home!

Mavery should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Mavery can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended. See the following link for more information: https://rabbit.org/care/bonding/

More about this rescue

Kribs for Kritters primary focus is rescuing domestic rabbits that have been abandoned at parks, schools, golf courses, fitness trails and any other outdoor location. Kribs for Kritters also assists Golden View Farm Rabbit Rescue in their heroic efforts.

All rabbits are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

We are both a rescue and a shelter. We have over 100 rabbits in our care. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask. It is likely we have a bunny to suit your needs. New bunnies are being rescued every week. We don’t always have time/resources to post every bunny that crosses our path.

We have an exceptionally high success rate of bunny bonding on the very first date. So, if you’re looking for a mate for your existing bunny, give us a try.

Our operating costs are at least $1,000 per month so donations are always appreciated. Donations can be made to PayPal.me/kribsforkritters.
