My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!  My name is Kimberly and me and my 4 siblings are all looking for our own forever homes.  We were found abandoned in a ditch and when no once came to claim us after our stray hold was up, BCAA was contacted to see if they could help us find forever homes and they said yes!  No one is exactly sure what we are mixed with but agree that we have some type of terrier in us based on our wirey-type hair and we are about 11 weeks old.  I am one of 4 females of the litter and weigh less than 10lbs.  Since we are not sure of our parentage, everyone's best guess as to how big we will be when grown is a small/medium sized dog, maybe 25-35lbs.  We are typical sweet puppies who will need continued training and socialization to become the great adult dogs our foster mom says we are well on our way to becoming.  We will be available to meet on Saturday, November 23rd, so if you might be interested in meeting me or one of my siblings, please fill out an application which can be found at http://www.bcaaofnj.org.

Submit Application

Submitting an application is always our first step - it's free to apply! bcaaofnj.org

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.

More about this rescue

We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.
