My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sophie’s babies

At a little over 2 months now, these dachshund/chihuahua mixes are ready to find their furever homes . They are all current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and their spays/neuters are scheduled. At their age, they get along with all size humans & dogs. We believe they will with cats too.

They will need families who can teach them puppy manners as they grow. They will need assistance with potty & kennel training. When appropriate, they will need guidance on a leash.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If any fit your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
