Meet Samantha

Born in September, this dachshund/chihuahua mix is ready to find her furever home . She is current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and spayed. At her age, she gets along with all size humans & dogs. We believe she will with cats too.

Samantha will need a family who can teach her puppy manners as she grows. She will need assistance with potty & kennel training. When appropriate, she will need guidance on a leash.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
