My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Fatty

She knows her name really well too! She is a pocket Pitt bull. Poor Fatty was found wandering in the desert. Her finder has graciously fostered her and has kept her safe. She is a very happy girl despite her experience. She gets along with all sized dogs, including cats! She thinks she’s a lap dog, regardless of her weight, and she is always looking for pets, hugs and love.

She is believed to be 3.5 years old. Fatty is current on vaccines, microchipped and spayed.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
