Then Simone is the cat for you! Dear Simone came to us under the name Potato with her five little kitten spuds who she lovingly raised and have since found homes. Despite being a diligent mother, Simone was very shy around humans and has needed a few months in foster care to unveil a bafflingly weird and endearing personality. Simone has the magical quality of getting along with every cat she meets. In her foster home, she has played the role of peacemaker with a particularly picky resident cat, she has become an active playmate and older sister to a shy 1 year old resident cat, she is practically married to a friendly male cat who she will affectionately groom and sleep with, and she has become an adoptive mother to a pair of tortoiseshell kittens who are not her own!
Simone's weirdness really comes out when she seeks affection from her humans. She loves to play hard-to-get and then jumps into your lap, burrows into your side, and squirms around so her head is nuzzled under your hand. She loves whole body pets, face scritches, and napping beside and on you. She also does not believe that you should use the bathroom by yourself and that you very much need her to support you in your activities.
Simone is also a delightfully vocal girl who has retained her maternal instincts to call out to the resident cats and check in on them. She has a beautiful, clear meow that she will periodically let out to locate other cats which she follows with gurgles and chirps of delight upon finding her playmates.
Simone has retained a very playful side. She loves to have zoomies with other cats and will frequently instigate play with other cats by batting balls over to them or dropping a spring in front of them.
This girl is truly magical when it comes to socializing other cats and her foster family truly believes she has a one-of-a-kind je ne sais quoi that you have to experience to believe!
