My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gravy, Your Perfect Side Dish of Cuteness!

Gravy is ready to pour his love into your life! This adorable pup from our Thanksgiving litter was born under a house and left by his mom, but he's been thriving ever since we took him in as a bottle baby. We've watched this little guy grow into the happiest, most snuggly pup you'll ever meet.

Gravy is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. He LOVES being held close and snuggled up in your arms. When he's not soaking up all the cuddles, you'll find him happily playing with his sister or exploring his surroundings with a wagging tail.

As a young puppy, Gravy is still discovering the world around him and will need a loving family to guide him as he grows. He’s looking for a home that can provide plenty of love, patience, and encouragement to help him blossom into a confident, well-mannered companion. Gravy will thrive in a family that’s ready to invest time in his training and socialization, ensuring he becomes the best pup he can be.

According to DNA, Gravy is 50% cattle dog, 20% chihuahua, and a mix of other breeds, making him a unique and delightful companion! Whether you're looking for a cuddle buddy on the couch or a fun playmate in the yard, Gravy is ready to bring joy and warmth to your home. If you're ready to add a little extra "flavor" to your life, Gravy is ready to be your main course of love! He was born in October 2024 and is being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our application:

Additional adoption info

The initial phase of our adoption protocol involves prospective adopters completing an adoption application.

Following submission, our administrative team conducts a thorough review, and if approved, the application is then forwarded to the animal's foster.

Subsequently, a phone interview is scheduled to address follow-up queries, provide additional information about the pet, and acquaint the adopter with our organization. If the interview is successful, arrangements are made for a meet and greet, along with a home visit. For pets adopted out of state, the meet and greet and home visit are conducted virtually.

The final steps in our adoption process include verification of identification, finalization of the adoption contract, and payment of the adoption fee.
