How do you think cute little Trouble got his name? He is one active kitten, but it's just kitten trouble, which is mostly amusing. He has a definite personality, and is the only guy in his litter of three males who has lots of white in his coat. But we must admit, he is in almost constant motion when he is awake. When it's time to rest, though, he is a sweet little ball of fur, and is ready to snuggle down for a nap in your lap. Trouble needs some children to play with, and a tired parent to cuddle with after they are in bed.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. You can also contact us directly regarding a pet seen here and we will set up a time for you to meet them in person. Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
