Introducing Miss Harmony!

Harmony and her sister Hadleigh made a last minute trip to us last week after their original rescue couldn’t take them. They’re both now spayed and ready for the furever homes!

Harmony is the smaller of the two pups, roughly 36lbs, but only by a few pounds and are about 5-6 months old. They are thought to be hound mixes of sorts.

Miss Harmony can be a bit shy at first but once she warms up, she loves people. Keeping her properly socialized and helping her experience new things will help with this as she gets older.

dog friendly but will require proper introductions as she can be a bit nervous

crate trained
follows her people around but is still learning that snuggles are ok!
very food motivated and easily trainable
very affectionate and loves to be petted

Harmony is still a young pup so would benefit from some basic manners training. She does sometimes
Jump up on people and can be mouthy at times. Both of these should be corrected with training especially as she gets older.

If interested in one of our great dogs, please email us for an application. Once the application is returned and processed, we set up private meet and greets with approved adopters. Our adoption fee is generally $200.

New Leash on Life Dog Rescue is a foster based dog rescue that takes in dogs from local owner surrenders as well as rescues dogs from high kill shelters in other states. We also work with local shelters when they have a dog who is just not doing well in a shelter environment. We are an all breed rescue and we have dogs of all shapes and sizes. We rescue dogs who are need medical attention as well as those who are healthy and just looking for a great family.
