If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.org. The adoption fee is $400. All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped current on flea, tick, hw meds and dewormer.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton.

Transport available to Buffalo NY and Ontario Canada for an additional fee.

River is one year old and 10 pounds. He is a goofy kid, young and still getting used to being a dog. He is playful and silly, loves other dogs and loves attention but he is squirmy and still a tad scared of being picked up. As you can see, he loves human attention but he starts to get nervous and squirmy when you pick him up from the ground . He is a gentle loving boy otherwise. Great with all other animals, because he is still learning to be handled, we ask no younger children, middle school age and up please. He also walks on a leash but if something scares him he starts rolling around like the ground is lava so he needs to always be on a very well fitted leash and harness.
He is a cutie patootie . He needs his forever family , a first Christmas and a home for the holidays.
