Maye is a gentle but shy 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart as big as her ears (and they’re pretty big!). She’s slowly discovering the joys of being a dog, from playing with toys to making furry friends, thanks to the loving patience of her foster home.

After a tough start to life, Maye is learning what it means to feel safe and loved. She’s good with cats, dogs, and kids, but loud noises and new experiences can make her anxious. With her sweet, affectionate nature, she’s sure to blossom in a calm, patient home where she can continue to grow her confidence.

Maye’s Highlights:

A quiet companion who adores affection and gentle cuddles.
Learning to play and explore at her own pace.
Fully vaccinated, spayed, and healthy, though she’s working through some anxiety. She’ll be ready for meet-and-greets after her upcoming vet appointments on December 3 and 10.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application at www.angelsrescue.org/adopt and a member of our Adoption Team will contact you for an interview.

2.
Meet the Pet

Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.

3.
Home Check

The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our team is available for support and referrals post adoption if you need it!

We ask that all pets and family members meet your potential new pet so that everyone can be sure they are the right fit!

Puppies and kittens under 4 months may only be adopted locally. Fully vetted and altered pets may be adopted out of state.
