My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dainty, the pint-sized pup with a personality as big as her heart!

At just the right size for cuddles, Dainty is the ultimate lap dog. Whether you're settling in for a cozy movie night or just need a little extra comfort, she'll be right there beside you, ready to curl up and keep you company. Don't be surprised if she's got a soft spot for your TV shows-she's a bit of a couch potato and might even catch a glimpse of her favorite squirrel show on the screen. (She's got great taste, by the way.)

Dainty is as sweet as they come, with a calm, gentle demeanor that makes her the perfect companion for all ages. She's well-behaved, easygoing, and gets along fabulously with other dogs. If you're looking for a friend who's both loving and relaxed, she's your girl!

She's a low-maintenance bundle of joy who knows how to balance playtime with plenty of naps. Whether you're in the mood for a walk (she may like it in a stroller), some play, or just a quiet afternoon of snuggles, Dainty is always game. She's a true definition of "chill and loves being near her humans-so if you're looking for a sweet, calm lap dog who's just happy to be by your side, Dainty is ready to bring her sunshine into your life!

Dainty wants to forget her past as a stray on the streets of Mexico. When found she was extremely skinny but low and behold, she was pregnant. She gave birth to the tiniest puppy. Due to her malnourishment, her puppy did not survive past 3 weeks old. Dainty then had to have a very large bladder stone removed. She has healed from all this and has forgotten her past. She is now here to love you.

Dainty is potty pad trained but also goes potty outside. She likes to sleep with you but she is also kennel trained.

Dainty will be losing those cute lower canines during her dental on 11/20 and can be adopted once she has healed.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
