My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola was surrendered to Brooklyn ACC in Jan 24. She had had puppies. She was left tied to a fence outside with another dog, and she was about 2 years old. Lola was at ACC for two months, until we found her. Those two months at the shelter were extremely hard on Lola. She was put on meds to get her through the day, and eventually was on the urgent list. Once we met her, we knew we wanted to give her a chance outside of the shelter.

We've been working with trainers and a behaviorist since we brought her home, at the recommendations of the shelter and our vet. She's been getting better with the training and medicine protocols, but we've come to realize that city life is not suitable for her. She is extremely dog reactive (though shes shown sparks of getting better) and per our trainer recommendation, we aren't walking her outside.

She is an A+ cuddle bug and loves fiercely. She is smart and house & crate trained. LOVES to play and has lots of playful energy that is hard for us to burn.
