Barney is a sweet boy with the most beautiful bright, brilliant eyes and playful personality. He has been in foster care since he was a few weeks old and unfortunately, he was left kennel by himself until now. I brought him to my house to socialize him and he’s in a pen with two other pups. He does great with people and dogs. He does not bark at night, which is a very pleasant surprise. He has a bright and bubbly personality. Barney is about 30 lbs. Barney will make a wonderful pet in a house full of little kids who want to play with him. Barney is currently with Ozark Homeward Bound animal rescue in a Foster home in Harrison Arkansas. Do not let distance be a deterrent. There is a Facebook page where you can see videos of him to get to know him. The adoption fee does cover the transport to get him to locations where he is listed or near those locations. For the farthest north east Enfield, Connecticut is the closest stop on the rescue network transport.

When you request our NONBINDING application, you'll be interviewed by one of our Board members, then put in touch with your chosen pet's foster family. We require that any other pets in your home be neutered & vaccinated. You're under no obligation until you pay the adoption fee and the pet has left our care. Fees include sterilization, all appropriate vaccines, exam and treatment as necessary for parasites and/or other health issues and commercial ground transport if required. All available health records/certifications accompany your pet and all adoptions are guaranteed.
