My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.A year old male beagle border collie mix

Barney is a sweet boy with the most beautiful bright, brilliant eyes and playful personality. He has been in foster care since he was a few weeks old and unfortunately, he was left kennel by himself until now. I brought him to my house to socialize him and he’s in a pen with two other pups. He does great with people and dogs. He does not bark at night, which is a very pleasant surprise. He has a bright and bubbly personality. Barney is about 30 lbs. Barney will make a wonderful house pup. He is house trained and has no issues at all. Barney is currently in foster care with Ozark Homeward Bound animal rescue in Harrison Arkansas. Do not let distance be a deterrent. There is a Facebook page where you can see videos of him to get to know him. The adoption fee does cover the transport to get him to locations where he is listed or near those locations.  For the farthest north east Enfield, Connecticut is the closest stop on the rescue network transport.

More about this rescue

We are a small volunteer non-profit rescue group. We receive no public funding. All our rescues are in private volunteer foster homes, and we do not operate a shelter. Our primary goal is to make the "perfect match" between the pet and his or her Forever Family. Our reward is the love of the animals and the gratitude of their new families.
