What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Luna is a second generation Pitbull/husky mix. On October 30th, she turned 6 years old. We are looking for a new home because our landlord recently updated our lease. Luna is a sweet and loyal dog. She is vocal and let's us know when we have visitors approaching, but with some cuddles she is fine. It takes some time for her to warm up to people, she lets people know when she needs distance or is not comfortable. Luna enjoys walks and chasing after squirrels. She gets super excited to see the leash and is still mastering how to not pull/tug on her leash. Luna has been mostly an outdoor dog that is potty trained, but when she is inside she loves to take naps on the couch. She is friendly to other dogs and knows how to be gentle with smaller dogs as she did with our frenchie. We thought we would keep Luna for her whole life and take care of her until her old age, it saddens us that things have changed. We want her to have a loving home with lots of space and fun.
