Hello there! My name is Mama Sugar, and I can’t wait to meet you! First, a little bit about me. I am a 3 year old, 19 pound, female, Jack Russell Terrier mix. My foster mama says that I am low energy and that I love to snuggle! She also says that I am a little timid and slow to warm up to new people but that once I earn your trust we will be fast friends. My foster home has dogs, little kids, and dog-savy cats and I am doing fabulous with both of them! Due to my timidness, slow introductions with the little kids is best. I am great in my crate and I am doing amazing with my house training. I have a few set backs at times due to the weather (I don’t like this cold, rainy weather in PA) and my timidness. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
