My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bosephus is a lovable, big-hearted boy with a sweet soul and an infectious personality. With his handsome looks, sharp sense of humor, and charm, he's hard to resist!

Although he's still perfecting his leash manners, his natural hound instincts make him a pro at tracking and sniffing out the best scents. He can be a little stubborn when he’s following a trail, but he’s learning to stay on track.

Bosephus is eager to please and quickly picked up commands like sit and shake thanks to his foster mom’s patient training. He’s her "work buddy" and joins her every day at the shop, where he knows how to chill on the job and greet customers with a wagging tail. Everyone loves Bo, and Bo loves everyone in return!

He’s a social boy who enjoys the company of people and kids, but he’s a bit protective of his things (toys, food, and his bed), so he’s not one to share with other pups. While he does well in social settings with other dogs, he’d thrive best as the only dog in the household. His foster family is also working on curbing his excitement when meeting new people, especially when he’s tempted to jump up.

Bosephus is food motivated, so he's working on refining his manners during mealtime, but he's making great progress! He’s fully house-trained and knows how to use a dog door. Plus, he’s learned to come when his leash is clicked five times—smart boy!

Still a young pup, he loves to chew on his toys, so having plenty of appropriate things to keep him entertained will be key in his forever home.

Bosephus is ready to bring his loving, fun, and playful energy to a family who will adore him as much as he’ll adore them!

***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
