My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kramer!

Kramer is a 50-pound bulldog mix who’s as low to the ground as he is full of personality! At 2 years and 3 months old, this low rider is handsome as can be, with enough energy to keep you entertained and enough love to melt your heart. ?

Don’t let his short legs fool you—he’s always ready for action and eager to be your new best friend. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts fun and affection, Kramer’s your guy! ?

If interested in meeting Kramer, please submit an application on our website.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Go to our website at www.humanesocietyofcalvertcounty.org and fill out an application. Once we do our reviews, we will call you for a meet.

2.

Meet the Pet

We will do a background check, home check using Google Earth and ensure that the application would be a good fit for our dog.

3.

Take the Pet Home

If everything checks out and you don't have other dogs requiring a meet & greet be scheduled, you will be able to adopt the dog that day.

Additional adoption info

If a potential adopter has other animals in the household, we will schedule a meet & greet to ensure that all get along.
