Just arriving in Minnesota, Athena is settling in and could use a few extra meals to help her build up some strength and confidence.
While Athena loves to curl up on the couch for a cozy cuddle, she's also happy to join you for a peaceful walk around the neighborhood. At first, she may be a bit shy and unsure of new surroundings, but with patience and love, she'll blossom into the perfect companion. Athena is all about taking things slow, quietly observing her environment, and soaking in the world at her own pace.
She walks beautifully on a leash-calm, composed, and content-making her the ideal partner for leisurely strolls and quiet moments. If you're looking for a calm, loving dog who will make your home feel like a haven, Athena might just be the perfect match for you!

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
