My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, we are Alvin, Simon, & Theodore but are not the famous Chipmunks. We are silly and playful little Chihuahua mix puppies born on 7/3/24, and we don't sing or have a band. Our mama was a stray Chihuahua in Carrizo Springs Texas, too wily to be caught, but she managed to raise us until a dog rescue intervened and placed us in a foster home. Months later, we are happy and healthy, have all our puppy shots, and are ready to find forever homes.

I’m Alvin, I weigh 7 lbs, look like a little deer, and I'm a sweetheart. I get along great with everyone, happy and friendly and my little tail is always waggling. I love to play, romp, run, and wrestle with all my puppy friends and I LOVE puppy toys. There are just never enough puppy toys! I am affectionate and loving, a bit squirmy when held if it's still during playtime but always happy for snuggles when I’m all pooped out! My future looks bright, so I just moved to Connecticut and am ready to meet you. Inquire about me today and bring me home!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
