Sophie will appeal to some and others will pass her by. She is happy character with beautiful eyes but has a slightly goofy look because of her deformed jaw which causes her tongue to hang out. She has a very stable temperament and is comfortable and trusting. New sights, sounds, and people do not seem to bother her at all and she is not shy. Sophie has been good with every dog she has been with in both her Louisiana and Florida foster homes, plus other dogs she met on transport or at the dog park. At her Florida foster home she thought she might enjoy chasing the cats, but the cats figured out she's a marshmallow and they just stop in their tracks and wait for her to get bored and go away. Sophie Is doing well on her weight loss program and loves her walks. She also loves squeaky toys and the blue nyla bones with the nibs on them. She will sleep in a crate and can be crated, but she is not destructive in any way. Sophie has good toilet habits and will potty in the yard or on a leash walk. She is housebroken as long as she has the opportunity to go outside, but she does not seem to have a strong signal to let you know. But mostly... Sophie is a love...love, love, love!
