My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Finn, aka Finneus, aka Sir Finnegan Fur! This handsome and playful 5 month old Shepherd mix pup is full of curiosity and a love for adventure!

With a soft and fluffy coat of fur, Finn is impossible to resist cuddling with. He is working hard to be a gentleman and keep all his paws on the ground. He is fully potty trained using a doggy door, and just may need some patience as he learns the ropes at his new place! He loves his daily walks on a leash and walks nicely next to his foster mama. He loves learning new little tricks and being the center of attention.

Finn absolutely adores little kids and all humans alike. He is all bark and no play with cats: he will approach and then retreat abruptly, but barks at them to play with him. He can be a bit pushy with other dogs if they allow it but loves to play. We do recommend feeding separately from other dogs.

With his puppy energy and outgoing personality, Finn is sure to bring endless joy and laughter to your days. Whether chasing after a ball, taking long walks, or snuggling up for a nap, Finn is always up for some quality time with his loved ones.

So come on, what are you waiting for?Meet Finn and see just how much love and happiness he has to offer.

Go meet their pets

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
