My name is Opal!

Meet Opal!
This sweet soul was found running at large by a kind-hearted Samaritan. When they opened their car door, Opal hopped right in, grateful for the warm ride to safety. Severely matted and dirty, she welcomed the care and comfort of the shelter. Sadly, no one came to claim her, so we stepped in to give her the love she deserves.
At the shelter, Opal was shaved, and during her intake exam, our vet discovered BB pellets embedded under her skin. Her finder became her foster, ensuring she had a safe space to heal. Since then, Opal has undergone spay surgery, cherry eye correction, and had two BB pellets removed from her neck and ribcage.
Now fully on the mend, Opal is thriving in her foster home. She's great with other dogs and, while a little wary of men at first (understandably, given her past), she warms up with patience and kindness.
