Interested in a small senior dog who likes to cuddle and eat? Meet Tobias.

Tobias is 10 years old and weighs 21 lbs at last weigh in at the vet. We think he is likely a minature pinscher with maybe some rat terrier. Fill his tummy and let him lay with you and he is a happy boyl He is currently on restricted calories to take off a few pounds and his foster mom is noticing that it appears to be working. He isn't a big fan of this diet so mom is giving him extra love. .

As a senior boy, he is a little hard of hearing. He still loves to snuggle and he talks alot. This is not barking, but just his way of communicating. Hey maybe he has some husky???? lol.

Tobias is good with dogs and cats, loves to snuggle and follow his foster mom around, and is happy to accept cuddles from visitors too. He was great for his Santa Paws photo shoot too! Check out the christmas video!

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
