Meet (big head) Todd:) Todd is a fun, curious, and active boy. He loves being near his person and will often stay close, hoping that at any time you might give him a treat or pets. Todd loves to chew on a Nylabone or Benebone, especially one that has a smear of peanut butter on it. He is active and likes to chase and chew on rubber balls. He enjoys playing keep-a-way and being chased when he has a ball. Note that he hasn’t given the slightest hint of wanting to chew on anything he’s not supposed to.
While he is young and hasn’t had much training, he knows sit and stay. When getting ready to eat, he knows how to stay in a seated position until he’s released. He has a great time on long walks since there is so much to sniff and is given a chance to burn energy. His foster has been walking him 2 times per day for 15-30 minutes. He can be strong on the leash but has been working on his manners to pull less. He gets excited when he sees another dog when out walking, so he is learning how to sit and relax until they pass by. Todd likes to snuggle. When his foster dad is sitting on the couch, Todd will lay next to him with his head in his lap and snooze away. Todd is housebroken and crate trained. He is staying with a senior dog at his foster home. They get along fine and mostly ignore each other. It’s unknown how Todd would do with other more active dogs or cats or kids.
