Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our Scooby is one hilarious character. When you think of all the characteristics that Bullmastiff afficionados love about these fun-loving, goofy dogs, Scooby has them all. He is the poster boy for best of the Bullies.
Scooby's story is a familiar one. At the age of three, Scooby found himself a rescue statistic when his owners faced eviction with uncertain times ahead. Scooby joined our rescue from a local Connecticut Animal Control Shelter after staff had fallen in love with him.
Of course, Bullies are higher energy than most dog breeds, and Scooby is no exception. He is a robust boy with a BIG personality. He needs sufficient exercise to be happy, at least two to three brisk leash walks a day, plus a lot of focused playtime and ongoing obedience work with his person.
Scooby loves the outdoors and enjoys his walks even in the harsh weather. He would be an ideal walking or running companion, which would help work out his ya-yas before an obedience session. He has had a good grounding in beginning obedience and knows his basic commands. Adopters should continue his program, and develop his full potential. Bullies as loving as Scooby should be the Breed Ambassadors.
Scooby has a strong, yet nimble physique, and is at an ideal weight of 75 pounds. His coat is short, manageable and easy to groom. Scooby is mostly tan with striking black muzzle markings.
Scooby could join just about any kind of active adult home. He is generally well behaved, and friendly to all. Although he is fairly easy to handle, he may overwhelm kids. He would be fine with other well behaved dogs near his size. We have not tested him but he would likely stalk and chase them beyond their comfort level.
Scooby has excellent house manners, and is house trained and crate trained, although adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that may occur as he adjusts to a new routine. Scooby rides calmly in the car, and behaves well in public.
Scooby has been neutered, and has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. If you are interested in Scooby, please write to Denise at Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

When we receive your completed application we will check your references, including your veterinarian, and then call you to discuss your situation and requirements.. If you are approved for adoption, we can then discuss with you which of the dogs might fit best into your life. We will either arrange for you to visit the dog in its foster home, by appointment, or transport the dog to your home.
To help cover the veterinary expenses of our foster Eskies and to support our rescue effort, Eskies Online will charge you an adoption fee of $350.00. We do not sell dogs. We charge a flat fee--whether the Eskie is a puppy or an older dog; whether it came to us with minimal veterinary needs or requiring major medical care; whether the Eskie makes a short or a long stay in our foster system.
