My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We got Rooster when he was a puppy from a family friend about 1.5 years ago. He came into our family of 5 (3 kids), 2 cats, & 1 very small dog. He is crate trained and obeys a handful of basic commands. He is walked daily; however, he would greatly benefit from more activity and work. Rooster is very much a working dog, and our family doesn't have the time to dedicate to this. Our issue with his obedience stems from our tiny dog. The tiny dog has different rules than Roster, like being aloud on the furniture, bed, laps, etc. Rooster wants to get the same privileges as the tiny dog, and this causes behavior issues like jumping up, barking, and not following his basic commands. We think he could be a very dog in a different environment like a farm, property, with other dogs like him, lots of activity, etc. Like most dogs, Rooster just wants to please you and get attention.
