My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bessy May, a sweet and affectionate 2-month-old Great Pyrenees Australian Shepherd mix who adores spending time with her humans! This little lady is doing wonderfully with potty and crate training and is already showing how adaptable and loving she can be.

Bessy May gets along well with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a fantastic fit for a variety of family dynamics. She's spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventions, so she's ready to join her forever home.

If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Bessy May is your girl! Submit your adoption application today, she can't wait to meet you!

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
