My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Angel was brought in by her previous owner on 11/12/2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
We're still getting to know this beautiful little bun but she's been easy to handle and tolerant of treatments. Some fun facts about rabbits: To express happiness, bunnies will sometimes jump around and flick their heads and feet, the term for this fun behavior is "binky". Rabbits need a good size space to live in so they can run and play. If you give your rabbit toys, such as a small ball, or plastic keys on a ring, she will toss them about and bring you plenty of entertainment. Research rabbit care prior to bringing your bunny home. Rabbits need to have a well-rounded diet, a climate controlled environment, and ongoing care for their teeth and nails. With the proper care, rabbits can live 9+ years! To meet her please visit our Escondido Campus.

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for her new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
