Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Annaliese is an energetic, happy little dog that was found severely matted and dragging a leash in California. After no owners claimed her, we were able to bring her up to join our program in the hopes of finding her a loving home.
- Approximately 1-2 years old and 10.2 pounds
- Curly Poodle-type fur that will need an owner committed to regular grooming every 6 weeks. She is currently shaved down to the neglect of her last owners not maintaining her coat.
- Confident, outgoing, wiggly, tail wagging, social girl who loves people!
- Not a couch potato, this girl has some busy energy but can settle.
- Good with other dogs
- Fostered with a cat and we are still assessing her cat compatibility but believe she will likely be safe with cats
- Kids ages 10+ preferred if there are kids in the home just due to her small size
- No leash reactivity noted
- Rides well in the car
Annaliese is new to us after arriving to our rescue on 11/17/24 so we are learning more about her while she is enjoying life in the comforts of a foster home. We should have more information soon about potty habits, crate training and how she does left home alone.
Annaliese is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, heartworm tested negative, dewormed and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland.
$450 adoption fee

All of our dogs are in foster homes that help them to learn to be good house guests. Our foster dogs thrive in a home environment rather than a scary shelter where they would become stressed. Plus we gain lots of good information about the dog's personalities in a foster home setting.
All foster homes are located within 45 minutes of Portland, Oregon. Once we receive your adoption application and chat with you, we will provide you the foster home's contact information that has the dog you're interested in meeting.
