My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Pepper, an 8-year-old sweetheart with a heart as big as her paws! Weighing in at 80 pounds, Pepper is a calm, affectionate, and playful lady who loves to spend time with her people. Whether she`s enjoying a leisurely stroll, lounging at your feet, or playing with her favorite toy, Pepper brings a sense of warmth and comfort to every moment.

Pepper has a gentle and laid-back nature, making her an ideal companion for a family or individual looking for a loving and low-maintenance dog. She`s sweet and social but also enjoys her quiet time. Though she might take a little time to adjust to new environments, once she feels comfortable, her affectionate side shines through.

Pepper could potentially do well with other dogs, especially with proper introductions and responsible integration. She`s the kind of dog who thrives in a calm, structured home where she can relax and enjoy her golden years with people who appreciate her gentle, loving nature.

If you`re looking for a loyal companion who`s playful, calm, and just the right amount of spunky, Pepper might be the perfect match for you!

Pepper is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take Pepper home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!
