Pawlie is a darling boy. He was rescued by his guardian angel after he was abandoned by a dumpster. He is a black and
white tuxedo kitty with long, silky, black and white fur and a lush, black tail. His gorgeous fur was in poor condition when he was rescued and he was necessarily groomed for a fresh start and healthy coat again. His thick, beautiful tail will be a revelation in time as it slowly grows back in all its glory. With his luxurious fur, Pawlie requires daily brushing and he may need the occasional professional grooming to keep his tuxedo looking pristine.

Pawlie's nature is loving and sweet. He gives kisses and appreciates his good fortune. He has beautiful amber eyes and he shines them on you with love and gratitude.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated volunteers in Burlington, VT with a focus on rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned cats in our community. We provide safe, loving foster homes for cats of all ages until they are adopted. They receive socialization, a nutritious diet, any necessary vet care (including spay/neuter surgery) and lots of TLC while in our care. We do our best to find the right home for each cat considering their unique personalities and ongoing needs. We also offer resources, advice and support to cat caretakers in our area.
