My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Katie (ktmedley93@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.

Despite her sad eyes, Goldie is a happy little girl, especially when she hears the sound of a wet food can opening, or when she's getting ear scratches. She's as sweet as can be, and loves cuddling next to her humans, playing with her foster friends, and falling asleep in your lap. She does get sad when she's by herself and tends to cry at the door when she sees you leave, so she would do best with a household that has someone home frequently or another cat.

Adoption is $50 and includes the spay/neuter surgery, initial vaccines, Feline Leuk/FIV testing and microchip. To meet this kitten please email her foster mom at ktmedley93@yahoo.com and share a little bit about where this kitty would be living and with whom (children, other pets) so that we can make the purrfect match. Kittens are always BOGO, and do much better with other feline friends to play with, especially when you're away! Blondie would love to be adopted with one of her foster step siblings  (pictured) or be in a home with other kitties to play with.

Additional adoption info

All of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and it is submitted to OCAS directly. The adoption fee for OCAS kittens & cats is $40, and they run a BOGO special all year (Adopt 1 kitty get a 2nd for free)!!

The adoption fee for the OCAS kittens & cats includes spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies, testing for feline leukemia, and a Microchip (ID for lost pets). The OCAS foster kittens & cats featured on this website are currently staying with their foster parent. Please contact the foster parent listed in the kitten/cat's description for more information on the kitten/cat that you are interested in. We may also have a limited number of kittens & cats that we are showing on our website as courtesy listing; their adoption fees may vary due to expenses incurred in preparing the kittens/cats for adoption.

Go meet their pets

You may visit the kittens and cats at their foster parent's homes; appointments are flexible and set at a time convenient to the potential adoptor and the foster parent. For more information or to set up an appointment, please email the foster parent listed in the description of the kitten or cat that you are interested in.

More about this rescue

Kindness For Cats Inc is a small nonprofit organization that participates in the Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) foster program providing temporary nurturing homes for at least a few of the countless kittens and cats abandoned there. We attempt to find permanent loving homes for these kittens and cats so that they will not have to return to OCAS when their time in foster care is done.

We also strongly promote spay/neuter to help fight the battle against unwanted felines, and attempt to inform the general public regarding the daunting problem of pet overpopulation.
