Meet Rokko, the XL Bully mix with a heart as big as his paws and a personality thats even bigger! At under a year old, this happy-go-lucky guy is all puppyfull of energy, excitement, and ready to turn every moment into an adventure. Rokko was surrendered due to his owners change in living situation, but that just means hes looking for a fresh start with a family who can keep up with his boundless energy and love for life!

Rokko is no stranger to other dogs and would do great in a home with an older, more mature dog to show him the ropes. Hes still learning how to be a grown-up dog, so having a canine mentor to guide him would be a huge plus. But one things for surethis guy is ready to play, explore, and go on all the adventures you can imagine. Hes looking for an active family who can take him on hikes, trips to the park, and all the fun outings that will help him stay socialized and burn off his puppy energy. Bonus points if you're someone who loves car ridesRokko is a road-trip enthusiast and is always up for a car ride to wherever the fun is!

Rokkos idea of a good time? Running, playing, and getting as many cuddles as possible. Hes not just looking for a homehes looking for a family who loves to stay active and can help him become the well-rounded, happy dog hes meant to be. We would bring the dog to your home and conduct a home visit.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process encompasses several steps in an attempt to ensure the best possible placement of an animal with the most appropriate home. In addition to an application and time spent with the dog of interest, a home visit with the candidate is also a step in the adoption. We do charge an adoption fee as well as require the execution of an adoption agreement.

Canine Rescue of Central PA, Inc. is a nonprofit 501c(3), all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing assistance to any dog in a helpless situation. While a young organization, we have made tremendous progress in establishing another valuable resource for our furry friends. It is our mission to get involved in as many situations as possible to provide sanctuary, shelter, and homes to as many dogs as we can. We also are very focused on creating strategic partnerships with other rescues and similar organizations in an attempt to share resources as well as expand public awareness of the overwhelming problem of homeless animals.
