Celeste is almost 6 months old and currently weighs about 12 lbs. She will be a smaller Doodle as we really do not know what she is mixed with likely with Schnauzer.
FROM HER FOSTER: She Loves a variety of toys. She likes to play fetch, and will even throw her own ball sometimes. She likes to find sticks to play with and chew on. One of her favorite things is chewing on her cow hoof. She loves being outside and going for walks. She rides in a car without a crate no problem.
She gets very playful, but also likes to relax. She will snuggle on the couch, but also likes her alone time. Does very well in the kennel, but sometimes I have to put her in it if she doesn’t want to go.
She will cry sometimes when first put in there, but quiets down after a few minutes.
She’s almost potty trained. She knows she has to go outside, but hasn’t yet figured out how to tell me when she needs to go, and won’t hold it. (puppy) But she hasn’t gone potty in her kennel at all.
I think if she had access to a doggy door she would have no problem.
She takes treats gently. She’s great with kids and loves people. Good with dogs and cats. She gets very excited when she meets new people and wants to play. She has learned what “no” means and knows how to sit. She does have a grade 2 of 6 heart murmur. We had an EKG done at the time of her spay surgery.
This breed requires exercise to raise a healthy and happy puppy. Puppies require patience and training. They need to be housetrained, learn soft bite, not jump up and what to chew on and what not to. The amount of time you put it, molds the puppies behavior at full growth. More will be known about me soon.

More about this rescue
We have grown to be one of Nevada's largest animal rescue groups providing a safe haven for dogs suffering from abuse, neglect or homelessness. In most of these cases, death would have resulted if the animal had entered a municipally funded shelter. We receive no local or federal funding, it relies solely on the generosity of its contributors and tax deductible donations received from the public. We always need volunteers and foster homes!
