My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Butterscotch, a young, playful, and friendly bundle of joy. Her energy is contagious, filling any room with happiness. She loves playing fetch and tug-of-war, but she`s equally content to cuddle up for a quiet evening. Butterscotch is a quick learner, eager to please, and has already mastered basic commands. She`s the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle but also appreciates the quieter moments in life. Butterscotch`s friendly and cuddly nature makes her an ideal pet for families with children or for someone looking for a loyal companion. Her zest for life is truly inspiring, and she`s ready to share that with a loving family. Adopt Butterscotch and add a sprinkle of joy to your life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
