Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Happy Holidays from Howard! He is my goofball foster Bully. He has made excellent progress on his crate training. We are virtually noise/protest free. The song Silent Night comes to mind😃. Howard is 48 lbs of solid chunky love. He loves to cruise around in a yard and play tug or ball. The shelter had his age at 3 but he was a stray so who knows? I think he is closer to 1-1.5 years. He is mischievous and does like to grab things and chew that he shouldn’t. Again, some silly puppy antics. But listens when we say no. He is a sweet boy that would love a home with a playful doggy sister. He isn’t a swimmer but more of a sinker so pools could be a threat.
Howard is a bundle of love and energy! This handsome American Bulldog mix (or perhaps an exotic Bulldog — DNA pending!) is ready to find his forever family. With his adorable white coat and soulful eyes, Howard is as sweet as they come, but he’s also got some pep in his step!
Howard would thrive in an active home where he can continue to work on his training and enjoy plenty of enrichment. He’s housebroken, but he’ll need a little extra guidance when adjusting to new surroundings or routines — consistency is key for this lovable guy. Howard has been working with a trainer to address a touch of separation anxiety, and he’s already making great strides.
He’d love a home with a playful, active canine companion (preferably a female) to help him burn off some energy. While Howard is great on a leash and loves walks, he’s still learning how to channel his excitement, so older kids would be the best match for his enthusiasm.
Howard is a total snugglebug who adores being petted and loved on. He’ll happily curl up with you in bed or on the couch, soaking up all the affection he can get.
If you’re an active individual or family looking for a sweet, goofy, and loving companion, Howard might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to bring joy, snuggles, and plenty of fun to your life!
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
