I took him in about 2 years ago from some friends who were going to surrender him. They got him when he was about 6 months old and I'm pretty sure he was abused before. I put a huge effort in to train him and he responded great, he is super affectionate but clingy. He was doing fantastic until I moved houses this year. He has gotten extreme separation anxiety, which has caused him to lose weight despite supplements to gain weight, soil his kennel daily (never a previous issue), and most recently lash out towards my 14 year old senior dog. I feel completely awful, but I longer trust him around my senior dog. I do believe he would be a good fit for being the only dog with someone or a family who can be home more often with him than I can for him. He really is a good boy, but I longer feel it's a good situation for him with me.
